My 68 mother, is now going through menopause.. its really affecting her?

... hot flashes , especially at night.. so she isn't sleeping well at all. moodiness, irritability.. can't concentrate and so on. As her daughter, really feel for her. Anyway, she saw in a ad, a pill called MenoSense.. so we went to Vital Health, local health store and picked her up a bottle of these pills.. She started taking them 2 weeks ago, she can't really say if there is an improvement.. and I myself noticed, that she is looking more tired than ever. Do you think these pills are ok for her?.. i am leary about pills/ or anything sold at a health food store, since they aren't FDA approved. Anyone heard of MenoSense.. and/or taking it?
