I have a New Moon Question...?

Did anyone else notice this about the book: When Bella comes home she sees Carlisle's car parked near Charlie's house, right? So then she goes inside to see that Alice is there. (the natural implication of the fact that Alice took Carlisle's car to get there) Alice remarks that she's surprised to see that Bella is alive. She says that as soon as she had her vision (of Bella jumping off the cliff) she got on the next flight to Forks. So if she flew to Forks, then why is Carlisle's car parked there? I think Meyer made a typo.
