Why Advent laptop is heating? Note: Processor Configuration: Core 2 Duo with Power Saver Configuration?

When i am using Advent laptop with Core 2 Duo processor. It was set to power saver configuartion. Laptop is getting heated on the front and back. I feel difference with similar latops with other brand. I want to reduce heat. Does there any software to reduce heat on the laptop?
