My lamb's ear plant is dying :(?

I got this plant on the day I got home from the hospital, so it means a lot to me. It took awhile before I figured out what kind of plant it was. (Now know it's a lamb's ear) So as a result, I was taking improper care of it. The store had put it in a pot that said "SHADE" on it, so I'd kept it in the shade and over-watered it. Then when I learned this was wrong, I put it in the sun and changed the pot to a terra cotta one for better drainage. But I fear it may be too late, because it's still getting worse. The leaves are all wilty and turning yellow-orange and a bit crunchy now. There's only a few green leaves left. What to do? Can somebody help me save my plant?
