Conclusion sentence for my speech about politics?
Politics during the 1990s had a significant impact on the not only the U.S. but also the world. The Oklahoma City Bombing revealed a sad and vulnerable facet to human nature. It revealed that sometimes those we place our trust in faithfully can prove to be the most untrustworthy of all. The Million Man March served as a wake up call for all of us, and was an example of how we can get the impression of some kind of finality if we make changes. But in reality, it's an ongoing process and sometimes we're only at the beginning. When Hong Kong was returned to China, it was, for the most part, a happy and celebratory time for those involved. Though there were some negative issues, but it taught us international tolerance and how every country or region, no matter how big or small, wants to ert their own rights and have independence and freedom, and we all have to co-exist together. These political events along with several others which have occurred over the past decades, are all woven into a rich and vibrant quilt of history. This can be considered a time of realization, reversion, and at the same time, advancement; it will always be remembered. As we move further into the future, hopefully we can look back on this important era and learn from the mistakes we've made, or maybe repeat things that we know are right. No one knows what the future holds, and there are constantly events which change us, currently as there has been all through history. But with hindsight, we can view the 1990's as a time of change, metamorphosis for states, countries and humanity, and the effects of the policies drawn up during that decade, will have some ramifications for generations to come.
